Cuvee/Kimpton Journeyman | Milwaukee Wedding
The 3rd Ward is a top destination for weddings in Milwaukee and for good reason – it is absolutely awesome! So many wonderful shops, restaurants, hangouts and coffee shops all with unique character, history and style and all in walking distance.
With joyful glee, 2 weeks before the Tom and Leah’s wedding day, Sarah arranged a sitter for the kids and we drove to the 3rd ward to enjoy all the sites, catch a bite at Stack’d and check out Leah and Tom’s wedding venues. As always inspiration was all around and we were stoked for the wedding day.
Milwaukee’s Kimpton Journeyman is one of the Third Wards newest wedding venues and is know for it’s high class style, great service and premier location. We had originally planned to take our photos around the 3rd ward, however, wind and rain changed caused us to think on our feet. The Kimpton Journeyman staff were amazing and helpful allowing us to take the pictures at The Outsider. This rooftop bar has views of downtown and the lake and became the backdrop for a super fun 1st look and the family photographs.
Wedding Reception & Ceremony at Cuvee
The warm elegance and vintage style at Cuvee set the stage for Leah and Tom’s Ceremony and Reception. The space is divided with a martini bar and lounge on one side and ceremony/dinner space on the other. Large beautify ornate doors separate the spaces and are left open once dinner is ready creating one large space.
Needless to say every moment of their day was beautiful and fun. Looking through these images I remember all the little bits that made for one fantastic and wonderful wedding day. Also, Purple Door Ice Cream bar – best wedding desert idea ever!
